Do not run the equipment without adding the fluid, as it may damage the ultrasonic motherboard. When you test a single injector you simply need to plug only the other 5 cylinders, so the CT500 comes with five plugs. Ultrasonic Cleaning Function Ultrasonic cleaning: It sends signals to the injectors through the pulse signal line, using the cleaning fluid with ultrasonic vibration to completely remove the carbon and impurities inside the injectors. Leak Detection Test: The leak detection test is to detect the tightness of the injector needle valve under the high pressure of the system. FAQs Why is my fuel injector cleaner suddenly leaking? Please help confirm what liquid was added to the device during the fuel injector test. We recommend using specialized fuel injector testing liquid or medical-grade anhydrous alcohol. Adding cleaning liquid to the device for testing can corrode and expand the rubber seals inside the device, leading to leaks at the bottom of the glass tube.In severe cases, this could also damage the oil pump, leading to a lack of pressure and no fuel injection. The plastic adapter of the CT60 fuel injector cleaning machine cannot be adapted to any type of detergent nozzle, resulting in detergent splashing at the interface. For our machine, the white cleaning adapter used for cleaning must be properly sealed at the connection to the cleaning solution bottle.
